Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Cedarwood Homes, our latest project located on the historic site of a former school in the Fairywood neighborhood of Pittsburgh. This new senior living community spans 5 acres and features eleven quads and one duplex, creating a total of 46 units.
Designed as a 62+ cottage community, Cedarwood Homes offers a mix of low-income and market-rate rental units in a single-level, garden-style layout. Each unit boasts a full kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, and a separate, covered entrance, ensuring residents enjoy comfort and convenience.
We are incredibly proud of the collaborative effort that made this project a reality. A big thank you to our client, Tryko Partners, and our partners PWWG, HUD, PHFA, HACP, the URA, and more for their invaluable contributions. Their support has helped us create a thoughtfully designed community.
At Mistick Construction, we're committed to building community-driven environments and providing much-needed affordable housing. We look forward to creating more homes like Cedarwood Homes in the future.
