Heritage Highlands marks the successful completion of a coordinated two-phase redevelopment effort involving Pennrose Properties, ACHA, and LGA Partners. Located in Rankin, PA, this former 198-unit public housing community has undergone quite the transformation, bringing 105 brand-new, high-quality affordable homes, along with various amenities spread across the 18.8-acre site.

The first phase, a $20 million endeavor that broke ground in June 2022, introduced 54 units distributed across 19 two-story buildings. This phase involves a range of one-, two-, and four-bedroom townhouses, complemented by green space and a brand new community building. Following the success of phase one, the $22 million second phase followed suit, delivering 51 additional units across 21 two-story townhouse-style buildings with one-, two-, and four-bedroom units.

Central to the development is the a community green space, providing residents and neighbors with a safe, open community gathering space, playgrounds, and a basketball court.
