Allegheny Branch House Lofts Nearing Completion

1

The Allegheny Branch House Lofts project, a former International Harvester Company branch house dating back to 1905, is nearing completion on Pittsburgh's North Side. In collaboration with Q Development and Perfido Weiskopf Wagstaff + Goettel, we have been given the opportunity to breathe new life into this historic site while preserving its rich heritage. The project was awarded Historic Tax Credits, and work was performed to meet the necessary historic requirements.

With 36 market-rate units and 21 unique floor plans to choose from, residents will find themselves immersed in a blend of historic charm and modern amenities. From the historic high timber ceilings, intricate tin ceiling tiles, real wood flooring, and penny tile backsplashes, every detail pays homage to the building's roots.

One standout feature is the addition of an antique tractor, a nod to the building's industrial past. Additionally, a beautiful skylight in the elevator section of the lobby will enable natural light to flow through all the way to the first floor.

Residents will also enjoy amenities such as a fitness center, dog wash station, and more. Despite its proximity to a railroad, impressive sound attenuation measures have been implemented to significantly reduce noise levels, ensuring a peaceful living environment.

With so many incredible features packed into this building, it's hard to name them all. The Allegheny Branch House Lofts project is truly something to behold! Be sure to check it out
