The Mellon’s Orchard South development was successfully realized through two distinct projects, Mellon’s Orchard and Harvard Beatty, collectively delivering 89 units of multi-family housing. The initial project consisted of 35 apartment flats and 12 one-bedroom live/ work townhomes. This comprised a diverse mix of 47 apartments, encompassing 25 one-bedroom units and 10 two-bedroom units.
The subsequent endeavor entailed the construction of 42 apartments, with 33 designated as affordable, nine as market-rate, and eight reserved for HACP voucher holders. Notably, 36 apartments on the upper floors are accessible via elevator, while the ground floor contains six apartments with street-level access, five of which feature lofted bedrooms.
