We specialize in wood frame multi-family housing and provide preconstruction and construction services across various markets, including commercial, residential, hospitality, health care, and student housing. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Superintendent.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the operations of the construction site, from planning to completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are strictly followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
- Be responsible for all job site safety (OSHA 10 minimum recommended).
- Possess excellent document record-keeping skills.
- Schedule and maintain quality control using checklists to ensure job site quality.
- Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
- Walk all units on the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
- Ensure that the job site is always kept clean and organized.
- Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have 5+ years of experience in multi-family construction.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science is a plus.
- Possess general computer knowledge.
- Be proficient in blueprint reading.
- Have endurance and the ability to visit the entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.
- Monitor job site general health and safety.
- Maintain a professional customer service attitude and appearance.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
