We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares and performs all necessary repairs and replacements in apartments in the areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry for all systems, equipment, appliances, and components.
  • Responds to all service requests, apartment turnovers, and on-call emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reports any problems and/or issues related to safety or property management to the immediate supervisor.
  • Available for weekend work, on-call rotation, and emergency service duties.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must provide own set of hand tools, or accommodations can be made.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of all hand and power tools, cleaning supplies, and protective equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior customer service skills, including the ability to manage unhappy customers and/or difficult situations.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Skill sets are preferred in the areas of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliances.
