The Grandview is part of Longwood at Oakmont, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). As part of Presbyterian SeniorCare, a non-profit network offering living and care options for older adults and/or persons with disabilities, it is one of their many CCRCs throughout Western Pennsylvania.
Each of the 89 spacious units has two bedrooms, two full baths, and a balcony or sunroom. The finishes feature high-end materials and fine detailing throughout. Additional amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness and exercise room.
The Grandview has received a Silver LEED rating, making it the first senior living apartment building to earn this certification. Its environmentally friendly design includes Energy Star appliances, generous use of natural light, and underground storage tanks with bio-swales for sustainable landscaping.
The building is a five-story block-and-plank structure atop a secure, single-level underground parking garage. The exterior façade features masonry brick veneer, vinyl siding, and aluminum trim.
