It included the restoration of the historic Clairton Inn hotel built in the early 20th century. The project is a PHFA-funded Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) program, ensuring affordable housing options. In total, there are 49 living units, ranging from one to three bedrooms. Additionally, street-level spaces along Miller Avenue are designated for commercial or retail use, contributing to the community's vitality.
The project received the 2023 AIA Pittsburgh | The Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Design Pittsburgh Social Impact in Design Award, recognizing its positive influence on the community.
