The Boardwalk/Glenville project involves the renovation of a scattered site property in Cleveland, Ohio, encompassing 173 apartments across 20 buildings. This development serves elderly and disabled tenants through a Section 8 HAP contract, ensuring affordability and accessibility.

The buildings, constructed in the 1920s and 1930s, consist of two and three-story walkups, each housing between 2 to 17 units. Despite periodic upgrades over the last century, no significant renovations have occurred in the past 25 years.

The project aims to modernize and improve the buildings by updating HVAC systems, repairing building envelopes (including masonry, roofs, windows, and doors), enhancing energy efficiency, and upgrading interior features such as floors, kitchens, and baths. The renovation also includes the creation of four ADA-compliant units. New features include LVT flooring, kitchen cabinets, paint, appliances, bathroom fixtures, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, and systems. Additionally, the project entails extensive masonry restoration and the installation of new windows and roofs.
