Allegheny Branch House Lofts

Mistick Construction proudly served as the General Contractor for the Allegheny Branch House Lofts, transforming the former International Harvester Company branch house, originally built in 1905, into a beautiful residential community. This project was a collaborative effort with Q Development and PWWG, and successfully earned Historic Tax Credits.

The renovation was meticulously performed to adhere to historic preservation requirements, resulting in 36 market-rate units featuring 21 unique floor plans. Each unit showcases historic high timber and tin ceilings, real wood flooring, and penny tile backsplashes, providing residents with a blend of modern comfort and historic charm.

One of the standout features is the first-floor community space, which prominently displays an antique tractor, honoring the building's rich history. Additionally, a skylight in the elevator section allows natural light to flood through to the first floor, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Residents can enjoy a range of amenities, including a fitness center and a dog wash station. Despite the building’s proximity to a railroad, sound attenuation measures have been implemented to significantly reduce noise levels, ensuring a peaceful living environment.
