Mistick Construction Company has been awarded the site development for Addison Terrace. In addition to the site work, Mistick has been awarded a contract for a large scope of work related to the vertical construction, and with its partner, Alliance Construction Group, is responsible for the $54.4 M project. The site development includes infrastructure and bulk excavation of the 47 acre site. This is the first of two phases, and includes 186 housing units in a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom units. A groundbreaking ceremony was held April 22, 2013 with all stakeholders that included the Housing Authority, City of Pittsburgh, KBK Enterprises and members of the community.
Site work began September 30, 2013 with the removal of thousands of cubic yards of excavation being done prior to the foundation work for the buildings, which began January 7, 2014. This phase of the project is expected to be complete for occupancy July of 2015.
